The ancient greeks believed that a new human soul was born every time an adult butterfly emerged from its cocoon.

Two beautiful vintage specimen butterflies are placed on an exquisite miniature vintage copper and brass hunting horn. Miniature musical instruments like this, were often made by apprentices to hone their skills.

This miniature world is presented under a new glass dome with a base created from a Victorian table leg.
