A unique and stunning giant chandelier/pendant light with contemporary character transformed by Utopia from a pair of antique brass hames.

Hames form the integral part of a heavy horse collar, usually made of metal and/or wood, they are often padded with a leather casing. The collar distributed weight around the horse's neck and shoulders when pulling a plough. Brass pairs were often used when the horses were on show. 

The antique is in good condition.

This striking light has been created using solid brass fittings including a domes ceiling rose with 4 cord grips and a central hook for the chains, 4 E27 Edison/screw lamp (bulb) holders, 2 brass ceiling hooks for the outer chains, welded brass link chain and mid-brown retro-style twisted cable.

This light looks great with the modern retro-style LED filaments that provides a great light at low cost, without any heat build up. Please note that the price does not include the LEDs.

Dimensions: maximum height to base of lamp holder 80cm. There is some flexibility with the height of this light as the chains and cable can be adjusted. Length 135cm
