A lovely large Victorian balustrade, in its original paint, has been transformed by Utopia into a unique lamp.

The highly ornate cast iron balustrade is a significant example in excellent condition which has been waxed to preserve its patina.

The lamp has been created with a waxed oak base, aged brass fittings including: an E27 lamp holder with shade rings, around 2 metres of mid-brown, twisted retro-style fabric cable, an inline switch and a black plug. 

The lamp is dressed here with one of our ivory linen rectangular shades.  Please note that the price does not include the shade.

The inspired selection of the original object and the process it goes through to make it covetable and unique is what makes our products special – every lamp is a one-off.

Enjoy the aesthetics of top quality heritage styling: traditional twisted fabric cable, aged metal fittings, retro-style chains and traditional plugs, whilst having the peace of mind that your light is safe, having been completely wired/rewired by experts using modern fittings.

We are unable to post this light due its weight  and size, so please purchase it and collect it from our gallery on Holt High Street. It would be helpful if you can provide a date when you plan to collect the lamp, so we can have it ready for you - thank you.  Alternatively, we can recommend a courier.
