An original fine art painting featuring a giant parsnip picked fresh from James's vegetable garden. When Jac pulled up the last of her own parsnips to paint, she found it full of bacterial canker, so she asked her friend James if she might paint one of his. To her delight he pulled up an enormous one well worthy of painting and here it is.
Oil painting by renowned artist Jac Scott, on an old white plate in 'Bernadotte' design made by Carlsbad, Czech Republic.
This particular plate was selected as the swirling details echoed the rootlets coming from the parsnip.
Diameter 27cm
On the back of the plate is the title of the painting and the artist's signature.
These simple still lifes look great on their own or even better in a group. Building a plate-scape is simple as they are ready to hang with a brass plated hanger, so super quick and easy to attach to your wall. Alternatively, you could place the plate on a special stand.
It's fine art on a plate only - don't ever use them for eating or put them in your dishwasher!
