Storm, Holkham Beach, Norfolk. Original Oil Painting

The painting is signed and titled on the back.

Capturing the essence of a mood where memories of the spirit of a place are embedded in the picture. The detail fused into the marks and textures. The colours absorb and reflect emotions whilst the palette knife and brush strokes suggest the visual motifs of the scene.
Everything is in the view, yet blended rather than defined, to evoke the true essence of the landscape.
