A fine vintage wooden engineers box with a lift-off front that reveals 4 drawers and a shelf. The box has been restored and updated to create a stylish and useful side table with storage. The piece has bags of original character with an industrial backstory ensuring that it will make a statement in any interior.
There is a substantial leather handle on the top and at each end there are the original strong metal handles, which makes moving the box around easy.
Brass fittings including discreet recessed drawer handles.
The front is secured with its own brass knob fixing.
The box is made of a mixture of hardwoods including mahogany.

The inside of the drawers have had all the dirty green felt removed then sanded - making them now fit for use. Please note that the inside is now clean and tidy, but not pristine as some historic stains remain.
Wooden tulip-shaped legs have been added to elevate it to a good height with nylon glides added.
The front fixing has been re-engineered to work proficiently, plus we supply an allen key for ease of removal.
Condition: very good - strong, sound and sturdy. Clean and tidy inside.
